Hotter speed and turning than competition kites. Higher-quality exercise and livelier pull than power kites. WindDances are "airgear," a new concept. They fly better and feel more exciting than typical stunt kites. Our other advancements: Ergo T-handles that boost feel, control, exercise. Natural active FLY-a-kite skill. |

Closeout Specials
We sold our very last WindDance -- a closeout special -- at 9:15am PT on July-6-2006.
Model (Product Info) Price (Order Here) Color (What are colors A B F G H?) 60%-OFF WindDance 3 $60.00 G 67%-OFF WindDance 3 *** $50.00 B, G *** 67%-OFF WindDance 3 specials have "WindDance 2" bags.
What's WRONG with these closeout-special "seconds?" Nothing except for hard-to-see cosmetic imperfections (no structural flaws, no performance flaws). There are no more "firsts," and soon no more "seconds," because we are selling out our stock and retiring from our Seattle AirGear business.
(NOTE: We are not retiring from developing ultra-hot new airgear we'll be flying in a year or so. We'll put up video clips to show the WTMF (way too much fun). Although we won't sell any due to our retirement from business (but not from airgear development and fun!), we hope to post plans and instructions for inexpensive easy-to-make versions so that flyers who really like the visual excitement and physical excitement of actively FLYING a kite -- the hotter the performance-and-handling, the better -- can enjoy them also.)
What's wrong with the other dual-line kites out there, performance/competition deltas and power/traction parafoils? Plenty. All have a whopper of a flaw -- a huge design/manufacturing defect -- that's easy to spot: half the bridle system is missing!!! Bridle-system parts that structurally connect the right control line with the left side of the kite and vice versa -- critically needed to be able to learn and use basic pull-on-one-line FLYING skill, critically needed for sharp/fast/powerful turning and good exercise, critically needed for the kite to have the 1st and 3rd Essential FLYING Qualities -- are neither designed nor built into those kites. That's why a "kite-culture" delta kite distorts and loses power when you pull hard on one control line, why the unsupported side of the kite bends back and maybe breaks when you try a sharp/fast/powerful turn with active pull-on-a-kite-line skill. That's why a "kite-culture" parafoil kinks in the middle when you begin to turn it (you can spot the kink in photos that advertise the parafoils!), why that distortion grows worse as you turn it more sharply, why the unsupported side of the wing wimps out and dies whenever you try a sharp/fast/powerful active turn with the sport's most basic and most natural skill that all children learn: pull on one kite line. See why "kite-culture" deltas and parafoils, sold and favored by organized kiting, utterly fail Kite-FLYING Test #1? Our parafoils pass with flying colors. And so did our experimental deltas of two different kinds, and our bow-wing, in the early 1990s.
What if there IS a problem with a WindDance special? Each has a 30-day exchange-or-refund guarantee: if you detect a problem within 30 days of purchase (based on invoice "shipping date"), send it back and we'll exchange it or refund the price of the kite (customer pays for exchange/refund shipping costs to/from Seattle AirGear). Long-term product support is included.
